Club Rules And Policies

Terms and conditions



  1. Membership of the Club is open to all persons over the age of 18 on application to the Club. Memberships Is also available on application to the Club, but all parties must be living at the same address,
  2. The Owner of the Club will examine all applications for membership and reserves the right to refuse membership. The Owner of the Club’s decision will be final. Once an application for membership has been accepted the member will have access to use the Club’s facilities.
  3. The Club is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Therefore membership of the Club is conditional upon completion of the Club’s Self Disclosure form and those applicants who the Club believe are a potential risk to children will be refused membership.
  4. The subscription shall be paid by monthly direct debit or annually in advance.
  5. The subscription shall become due upon the member being accepted for membership by the Owner. The Owner may suspend the membership of any person who fails to pay their subscription by this due date. Membership may be terminated if subscriptions remain unpaid in excess of thirty days.
  6. The Owner of the Club reserves the right to cancel membership at any time in the event of any substantial breach of these Terms and Conditions or the Published Rules of the Club, either by the member, or a guest, or a family member. The Published Rules are visible signage located around the Club.
  7. To use the facilities all members must read and sign our biometric finger policy, also known as FastVein, this is to be completed when signing up to all our memberships. This information will be encrypted and stored on our servers and will not be shared with any third parties. FastVein is an operating system which allows users access to areas throughout the building and is used to ensures the safeguarding of our pupils and members.


Rights and Liabilities

  1. As a member of the Club you agree to comply with the Terms and Conditions of membership and the Published Rules of the Club, displayed prominently in the Club relating to opening hours, use of facilities and your conduct. We may make reasonable changes to the Terms and Conditions at any time provided we give you advance notice of the changes. Should you object to these changes, you have the right to cancel your membership and we will refund your un-expired subscription.
  2. Minimum age for use of the fitness suite and free weights is sixteen,
  3. Children under the age of fourteen must be accompanied and supervised by an adult member at all times. When using the pool, a responsible adult, over the age of fourteen, may only accompany up to four children at any time, of these, no more than two can be non-swimmers or under eight years old, otherwise the adult must be in the water to supervise at all times.
  4. All members must produce their membership cards when requested to do so whilst on the Club premises.
  5.  Membership cards are not transferable and any member who allows their card to be used by a non-member shall be expelled immediately from the club.
  6. The membership card must be returned to the Owner on termination of the membership.


Conduct of Members

  1. No illegal gambling or betting shall be allowed in the Club and the Owner has the right to terminate membership should any member break the rule.
  2. Members are required to wear appropriate clothing, swimwear and non- marking footwear on the courts/ sports hall, pool and fitness suites as determined by the Club Manager.
  3. Members are not permitted to consume drinks within the Squash Courts.



  1. Members are entitled to bring a guest to use the facilities.
  2. Only Adult guests are permitted to use the gym facilities 16yrs and over
  3. Guests must be signed in and the appropriate fee paid by the member.
  4. Members are responsible for ensuring that their guests obey the rules of the Club.
  5. Members shall accompany their guests at all times.


Opening Hours

  1. The Club shall be open and prepared to receive members during the opening times at the discretion of the Owner. The timetables are presented on the member’s notice board and posted on the Club’s website.



  1. Membership does not guarantee admission and the Manager, acting on behalf of the Owner, reserves the right to refuse admission when admission would be likely to cause overcrowding, particularly to the Swimming Pool, at any time,
  2. Members must advise the Owner of any change of address.
  3. The Club will close for repairs and maintenance annually. Allowance for closure is reflected in the annual fee and no refunds will be given during repairs and maintenance periods.
  4. There will be a charge of £5.00 for replacement or loss of membership card
